2025 Cinema Worcester Student Short Film Fest
Cinema Worcester is pleased to announce the first annual 2025 Student Short Film Fest on Sunday April 27, 2025 at Worcester State University’s Eager Auditorium (located in the Sullivan Academic Center). Cinema Worcester, the city’s only independent cinema showing first run independent and foreign films regularly at WCUW’s FrontRoom, seeks to showcase the works of students from campuses across our great city and beyond. We endeavor to promote students’ creative and original projects, and to highlight the importance of the cinematic arts.
Guidelines for Student Filmmakers:
Students must be enrolled at one of the colleges within Worcester County, or have graduated within the past 2 years.
Films must be under 40 minutes in length.
Submissions must be student projects, with minimal if any assistance from professional filmmakers or production companies.

The student filmmakers must be present for their screenings, and available to introduce their films.
