This inventive rockumentary explores the incredibly versatile world of electric guitar through the eyes of three masterful (and distinctly different) performers: Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White. The film takes a deep dive into the instrument’s fascinating mechanics and vast creative possibilities while tracing each musician’s unique path from humble Everyman to full-fledged rock star, bringing viewers on a virtual tour of the places and moments that shaped their careers.
"For rock geeks of any age or taste, the lore in this documentary will be catnip. But ‘It Might Get Loud’ is more than a narrowly focused fan artifact. It gives those of us with tin ears and clumsy fingers a chance to linger in the presence of serious artists with formidable chops and big, if not always clearly expressed, ideas about what they do. And it will put you in the mood to listen."
